Patrick Rafferty
Chief Executive Officer
Patrick Rafferty was appointment chief executive officer of Centerpoint Medical Center in 2025. Prior to joining Centerpoint Medical Center, Patrick served as chief operating officer of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Patrick began his career with HCA Healthcare in the TriStar Division where he held leadership positions at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, then TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center where he served as chief operating officer.
Throughout his career, Patrick has led major service expansions, improved colleague and patient engagement and helped drive innovation in care delivery.
Dan Astleford
Chief Operating Officer
Dan Astleford is the Chief Operating Officer for Centerpoint Medical Center. In this role, he provides executive oversight of hospital ancillary and support functions, service line development, ethics and compliance, and campus construction. Some of Dan's accomplishments include expanding cardiovascular, neurosurgical, oncology service lines, increasing employee and physician engagement, and enhancing patient care and satisfaction. Dan became COO of Centerpoint Medical Center in 2019. Dan holds a B.B.A in Health Services Administration from the University of South Dakota and both a Master of Business Administration and Masters of Health Administration from the University of Iowa.
Sabrina Kidd, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Sabrina Kidd, MD, is the chief medical officer of Centerpoint Medical Center. A certified physician executive and dual board-certified colorectal and general surgeon, Dr. Kidd brings nearly 15 years of clinical experience and healthcare leadership to Centerpoint Medical Center. She joined Centerpoint Medical Center after resuming active clinical practice in Kansas City following more than a decade of surgical practice and leadership in Northern California.
Dr. Kidd earned her bachelor's degree in anthropology/zoology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her general surgery residency at the Michigan State University Grand Rapids Program and her colorectal surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Kidd is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
