John F. Tann, MD is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon specializing in weight loss surgery, practicing at Bariatric and Metabolic Specialists in Overland Park, KS. He is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center and Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Dr. Tann specializes in complex abdominal wall reconstruction, advanced foregut and reflux surgery, as well as weight loss surgery, gastric bypass surgery, and the laparoscopic gastric restrictive procedure
