Our treatments and services
For more than 25 years, Research Psychiatric Center has offered a complete range of acute inpatient, day treatment and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
Inpatient mental health services
In our 100-bed facility, we provide short-term stabilization for those needing immediate care. We treat adolescents, adults and seniors with emotional disorders and mental illnesses.
We use an intensive therapeutic environment to help you get back to your version of regular life as soon as possible. Services include 24/7 monitoring, daily psychiatric visits, diagnostic evaluations and post-discharge wellness checks.
Outpatient behavioral health services
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) helps ease the transition from acute inpatient care to home or family care, providing a path for you or your loved one to receive daily treatment, without the need for 24/7 care.
We also offer intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for those with needs too complex for individual therapy alone, but who don't require inpatient care.
Adolescent services
We offer inpatient and outpatient services for teens, aged 12-to-18 years old. Our experienced team of clinicians provides the care and support teens and their families need to overcome their struggle, provide hope and aid in recovery.
In this pursuit, we provide comprehensive treatment for conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, acute psychosis and emotional distress.
Adult services
Our psychologists and psychiatrists specialize in helping adults between 18 and 61 years of age find stability among the different life stresses and issues they can face. Through inpatient and outpatient services, it's our job to put them on a path toward recovery and a better life.
Senior adult services
Our senior care program provides care for those who are 60 years old and older. Mental health care is provided by geriatric psychiatrists who are board certified in geriatric care, along with a master's-level nursing staff.
We treat seniors experiencing increased depression, grief, anger, anxiety, dementia, loss of appetite, as well as combative behaviors.
